Ebrima’s mission is to work with grassroots organisations, government, private institutions, and others to address socio-economic challenges in local communities within Africa. A soil enthusiast and policy advocate, trainer, and consultant in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) arena.
My background and academic achievements in Soil and Agriculture and the Natural Sciences combined with the hunger for community development fuelled my desire to establish THE SOIL SOLUTION, an NGO dedicated to “protecting and making available suitable soils that physically and structurally support plants with adequate nutrients and water supply.” As Founder and Executive Director, I lead the charge of overseeing the general operations, finances, programs, and most importantly, the team in achieving our organizational missions.
My expertise allows me to develop strategic directions, credibility and trust, effective advocacy, and project implementation plans for impact and sustainability. Witnessing the positive impact of our work on farmers, local communities, policy developers, students, researchers, and other stakeholders motivates me to continue seeking solutions for a healthier and more prosperous planet, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa.
