The Soil Solution” in partnership with the FAO Gambia office, the Ministry of Agriculture with financial support from the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) celebrated WSD at the rice fields of local community women giving the women a chance to narrate the problems they are faced with by salinization. This event was attended by over four hundred (400) people including government officials, FAO country representation, local authorities, NGOs, CSOs, CBOs, women and children etc.
